Continue staring at a blade of grass. Focus on your grip pressure. A ten grip pressure is as tight as you can grip the club and a one pressure would be very loose. Hold a three grip pressure through your stroke. Don’t allow your grip pressure to change. Notice how fluid your stroke becomes. Start with a three grip pressure at address. Begin your stroke just prior to impact, increase your grip pressure only in your right hand. Notice how you push or pull the putt. You will likely do just the opposite with grip pressure changes in your left hand. This is also a good full swing drill. Your goal is to stroke the putt with the same grip pressure through your stroke.

Next, set up and stare at the blade of grass as you make practice strokes. Focus on the feeling of the stroke as you stare at the blade of grass. Set up to the ball, stare at the blade of grass, and repeat the feeling of your practice strokes. Notice how good your distance control is when you are able to repeat the feeling of your practice stroke.
