Welcome to the new Wright Balance Golf Academy website. In April 2005, we changed our name from Mind Under Par Golf School. We are proud that our golf school has been recognized by Golf Magazine as a Top 25 golf school every year since 1998 and we are thrilled with where we are going from here.

The reason we changed our name is simple. Our golf school originated with a focus on the mental side of the game. Over the years, however, we significantly expanded the content we are teaching on the physical side of golf. The physical and mental sides of the game of golf are completely interrelated, and balance in both areas is critical for peak performance. Our curriculum is uniquely comprehensive of both and felt the name of the golf school should reflect that.

We have been conducting extensive biomechanics research on over 100 variations in the setup and the impact of these on physical balance and club path. This research has led to some remarkable breakthroughs in our teaching. We felt it was important to change the name of the golf school to be consistent with our expanded teaching.
